im feeling a bit better, but my throat is sore and i have a bit of a drippy nose. blah.
we just got back from a concert at the shortpump mall. the band that played there was 80'z enuff... they were pretty good. every song they played was accurate and sounded awesome. i dont think they come to virginia for a while but i know they are in nc and ga a lot. it was fun to watch them communicate while they were playing, and seeing what made them smile- most of it was just like we do it at youth. as far as looks and gestures and stuff. i hope they come back soon, i really enjoyed them.
i miss cara leading us. i miss how she would get frustrated with us and yell at us until we started smiling at each other when she wasnt looking. :) well... i guess i shouldnt say yell. she just gave us a good cara-talking to. its good to have steven back-it is amazing when he plays. i miss singing when i play the piano, i guess i should ask to do it again but i dont think we have enough mikes so i just sing in my head and concentrate on playing.
its funny how each member of a band relies on each other member to keep on track. the drums pretty much carries everything. the bass watches the drummer to time the chord changes and how to play the progression. i rely heavily on the bass to keep up with chord changes. the guitar leads the melody and relies on the drums too keep with the beat. the piano fills in and builds up when its needed. i love playing with our group.

I'm happy that you're feeling better! I can't even imagine playing an instrument, much less be on a worship team. :) You have talent, and you should ask if you could sing again.
hi!! thank you for your kind words!
