bordering on insanity...

i just like those words... everything is fine. im finally over that cold/flu thing i had last weekend.last night i got to see hannah's new apartment and had a passion tea from starbucks (tazo) i ran out of my stash of that stuff so it was h.e.a.v.e.n. when i drank it. i was very proud of myself that i didnt get a frappucino (no idea how to spell that) or something cause ive been trying to eat better. ive been losing on average a pound or two a day... hopefully i will start seeing it soon!i want to make a cake. yes, i will admit that i watched ace of cakes last night, but i really want to get comfortable with working with fondant. and it tastes good too. :) one problem. if i make a cake... i eat it. no self control whatsoever when it comes to food that looks and tastes good. that is something im working on. so maybe ill make it for someone and that way i can have the satisfaction of baking without the trouble of eating it. i have a long list of people i could just hand a cake to and they wouldnt think i was crazy so i will slowly but surely go through them! :)

vacation bible school is next week... i didnt sign up for anything cause i didnt really feel up to it this year but i am opening the coffee bar so i have something to do and i can still watch what is going on. im excited about it, i love working in the coffee bar and being stressed out (although i doubt i will be stressed out this week, i will be lucky if i make three coffees) i really like working with food and doing culinary stuff... so i think after i am done getting a degree in something that will support me (dont know what it/they will be) i will go to culinary school.

i have a lot of cards to make tonight! so many ideas and so many people that i havent written a note to lately... or sent a letter to. i think we are renting the city of ember from red box tonight and making popcorn (i might possibly sneak confessions of a shopaholic into the picture... hopefully! i really want to see that movie!) as you can see from the pictures, i have a lily plant. one of the flowers fell off so i took pictures of it before it died only the light was gone so everything is really dark. therefore it looks grainy and quite crappy as i am feeling like being honest. but it was fun. i dont know why i always had my hand wrapped around the flower.. it just felt cool so i did it. they are kinda cool with how the earthy green tones came out (what light i had came through a green curtain)

i cant believe its friday. not that my week was long, but just that it went so fast!! we had kelly over for wednesday and thursday night and it was a lot of fun with her. we blew up big crocodile pool floats and little fishes that will decorate the church hallways for vacation bible school. there was so many!! we got dizzy from using so much air and buried ourselves in the blown up crocodiles and fishes... it was fun.

i finished the homemade life book by molly wizenberg!! it is amazing, i love it... you should read it if you enjoy cooking.

im gonna need to find my bible. it has been wayy too long since ive seen it... i think a few months? yeah, i know, really bad. and i feel it.

ill have some verses for you guys tomorrow. and hopefully a good recipe. :)

have a good weekend, dont have too much fun without me.
